From M4.. Take junction 15 (Swindon) and follow signs to Marlborough.
Once in Marlborough follow signs for A4 Clatford through town centre.
Continue on A4 until you get to a main roundabout and take the third exit for Avebury.
Avebury village is clearly sign-posted on the approach to the roundabout, which is approx 1 mile away.
Please remember that you are now entering a World Heritage Site and ask that you have some consideration for the villagers and other visitors.

Local Information
In this space we will have some general information regarding the Avebury Circle complex.....such as;
Visitor guidelines, local info, related National Trust info, http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk , etc Also places for you to camp out and local bus journeys.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Regular buses serve Avebury from Swindon, Salisbury, Devizes and Trowbridge.
* Route 5 and 6 from Swindon and Devizes run hourly during the day – last bus is late afternoon.
* Route 49 runs hourly from Swindon and Trowbridge from early morning until early evening. (Last bus to Avebury is 1905 from Swindon and 2000 from Devizes)
* A bookable service is provided by Connect 2 Wiltshire to Calne and Marlborough. A nightbus service has recently been added, with a last bus from Avebury at 2310.
